Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager/Program Manager will lead complex projects within the DoD’s Search Portfolio, driving the development and implementation of data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that enhance decision-making processes across the Department of Defense (DoD). This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in project management methodologies, particularly Agile, to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational goals. 

• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the Search Portfolio, ensuring alignment with DoD's goals. 
• Agile Methodologies: Implement non-traditional project management methodologies, particularly Agile, to facilitate continuous improvement and rapid iteration. 
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure project objectives are met. 
• Performance Monitoring: Track personnel utilization and budget usage across projects, reporting on progress and outcomes to senior leadership. 
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure all software development adheres to DoD policies regarding security and data access. 

• Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility  
• Education: Bachelor’s degree plus 7-10 years of experience or a Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science). 
• Minimum of ten years managing complex projects in IT engineering or big data environments. 
• At least five years managing projects using Agile methodologies in AI/MLOps or DevSecOps contexts. 
• Experience in a military or government environment related to project management or engineering. 
• Strong communication skills for effective engagement with team members and stakeholders. 
• Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable plans. 
• Proficiency in tracking project metrics and performance indicators. 
• Certifications: Active certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
