Vortexa is looking to engage a Marketing and Events Executive/Specialist from mid-July 2025 to mid-February 2026.

By using massive amounts of new satellite data and pioneering work in artificial intelligence, Vortexa creates an unprecedented view on the global seaborne energy flows in real-time, bringing transparency and efficiency to the energy markets and society as a whole.
We’re seeking a candidate with a can-do attitude who will bring excellent project management skills, in addition to the ability to manage multiple ongoing marketing campaigns and events. You will have had experience with events operations, in addition to the ability to deliver a top-quality client experience, paired with a high attention to detail. Ideally you will have had exposure to CRMs such as Marketo.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events planned, including logistics, vendor management, and adherence to timelines and budgets
- Work with both the marketing and commercial teams to align Vortexa-owned, sponsored, and attending events with business objectives
- Create compelling event messaging and content that resonates with target audiences and drives interest and attendance
- Support the team on translations and bilingual assets through an agency (where required), specifically on project-managing Japanese and Mandarin assets - physical and digital
- Analyse event performance metrics and provide recommendations for future improvements and optimisations
- Keep a keen pulse on the marketing activities in APAC to be the bridge between HQ and Singapore, ensuring smooth communication between both parties
- Run marketing campaigns to support lead generation and brand awareness activity across APAC
You will have:
- A self-starter mindset with a positive, collaborative attitude to work on multiple events at once
- The drive to grow and deliver an exceptional event experience in a fast-paced organization
- Experience using various audience acquisition tools such as email campaigns, social and digital marketing, and commercial referrals to meet event objectives and outcomes
- An analytical mindset with a curiosity to dig into data
- Knowledge and exposure to CRM tools with the ability to adopt new technology fast
- Ability to travel within APAC
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in events, or local activation and marketing roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You will ideally have:
- A degree in marketing, events or a business-related discipline
- Experience in working with various senior stakeholder groups, with the confidence to speak up and lead discussions
