We’re a diverse bunch of people who enjoy what we do and are looking for an Internal Salesperson whose role is to support our external representatives and to support the day-to-day operations of our steel distribution businesses, offering our clients an exceptional level of service and support.

With 69 sites and 1300 employees across New Zealand and Australia, our sustained growth can be attributed to our superior service and dedication to continuous improvement across every facet of our business – and this always starts with people.

This position is fulltime permanent, and the successful candidate will be based from our Hybrid Site in Tauranga.

About the role

Some of the things you’ll get up to in this role include:

  • Responding to inbound inquiries via phone and email
  • Preparing quotes & processing orders
  • Proactively following up with customers to get their feedback
  • Assisting in the day-to-day performance of the branch, including stock management and other administrative responsibilities

We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Intermediate level or above Computer Skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Fantastic warm and friendly telephone manner
  • Experience in customer facing role and values a high level of customer service
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a small team environment and assist where necessary
