Digital Media Buyer, Paid Social

You’re that person who gets paid social media. You thrive in a fast-paced team environment, pay attention to emerging social platforms and trends and are passionate about bringing these opportunities to clients. If you get details right while keeping an eye on the big picture, and you’re comfortable with no two days being alike, Walz Tetrick’s growing digital media department could be a great spot for you.

 

This position, with a team, will regularly contribute to client meetings, and offer points of view, recommendations and ideas for new campaigns and improving existing efforts.

 

The right person for this position will be a strategic thinker that can build on past successes and provide actionable insights for support. You’ll be responsible for weekly and monthly reporting on a specific list of clients. If you like wearing a lot of hats, being busy and working in a collaborative team environment, this could be a good position for you.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with the team to develop strategic integrated media plans.
  • Align client objectives with KPIs that achieve optimal campaign performance.
  • Client reporting monthly and, in some cases, weekly or as requested.
  • Collaboration with agency team in brainstorming, identifying, evaluating and recommending new opportunities.
  • Responsible for client and vendor billing and reconciliation with accounting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with other agency departments and agency partners.
  • Prioritize client requests with team collaboration, including account service.
  • Helping department identify training needs and providing input for educational initiatives.
  • Working directly in social platforms to build recommendations, activate campaigns and pull reporting and insights.
  • Manage and track pixel placement.
  • Manage and report on higher budget conversion campaigns.
  • Lead by example, support Walz Tetrick’s values and positively contribute to the culture.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • 3+ years of experience in paid social advertising.
  • Experience in planning and buying directly in social platforms with a variety of objectives and budgets.
  • Self-motivation and proven time management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Established organizational expertise and keen attention to detail.
  • Involvement with client and vendor billing and reconciliation.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Strategic thinking and interest in what’s on the horizon and how it may impact digital/social advertising to come.
  • Work well in a cross-functional, collaborative, team environment.
