QA Engineer (World of Warships, Console Web Team)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for а Middle QA Engineer (Console Web Team) to work on World of Warships in our brand-new Belgrade office.

World of Warships is the best naval game around, letting you take the command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players.

The project is driven by a team of international developers who combine talent with their passion for video games, resulting in World of Warships being a favorite hobby for millions all around the globe with keeping its community ever-growing!

Reports to

Our future colleague will report to Game Services Team Lead

What will you do?

• Creating and maintaining test documentation in actual;
• Conducting functional, integration, and regression testing of the web services;
• Testing the internal logic of web services;
• Participation in releases of the game and web services;
• Participation in planning new functionality for the project, analysis of new documentation, and interaction with the development team, analysts, and architects;
• Keeping up-to-date web services on test benches;
• Work with configuration files of web services and game servers.

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience in testing;
• Knowledge of testing methods and techniques;
• Knowledge of SQL at the level of basic database queries and data sampling (Postgre SQL);
• Basic knowledge of Python;
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN);
• Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira);
• Experience in developing test scenarios (test cases and checklists);
• Experience with Testrail, Allure, or others;
• Knowledge of JSON and XML;
• Understanding of REST, HTTP/S, working with API.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience with consoles (Xbox/Playstation)
