General Summary Of Duties:
The Special Events Representative performs a variety of assigned routine pre-event, event, and post-event duties such as event set/strike, tournament registrations, tournament scores, gift research, gift-wrapping, data input, event schedules, photo shoots, deliveries, and maintaining department files.
Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)
Drafts and coordinates all event paperwork, including but not limited to fact sheets, welcome letters, memos, timelines, rules, logs, guests lists, scoring materials, etc.
Performs a variety of assigned office support event duties to include answering phones, maintaining Special Events closet, maintain office equipment, order office supplies, establish vendor relationships as needed.
Acts as a liaison with all vendors, guests, employees, departments and divisions on all event relevant matters.
Prepares and maintains Special Events calendar and information portal for all scheduled events, promotions, concerts, fights, and other arena/festival activities.
Works as directed and completes all work assignments in the time frame that is assigned and performs other job related duties as assigned Performs all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department and each event and completes special projects as requested by management.
Adheres to all company, property, and departmental policies.
Informs the Special Events Manager/Special Events Coordinator of all pertinent information regarding specific activities and irregularities.
Provides input into the development, implementation, and evaluation of special events.
Assists casino customers with inquiries; researches and resolves problems related to event administrative and operational issues.
Other job related duties as requested.

Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and handle assignments in a fast-paced, high-pressure working environment.
Possesses excellent working knowledge of computer software programs to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Excellent customer skills.
Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Experience Requirements:
Preferred: At least 1 year of guest service or event planning experience.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
