Provides expertise in the application and management of integrated logistics activities supporting the installation and fielding of systems including system support management and maintenance; system security plans, supply support and provisioning; packaging, handling, storage and transportation of deliverables; technical data and data management; field configuration management; installation, facilities planning, and implementation; and operations training. Assists projects to comply with acquisition logistics management and life cycle support requirements detailed in Agency Policy 8-3, “Acquisition Logistics Management”. Logistics includes global functions of asset management, procurement of equipment (hardware/software acquisition process), receiving, storing and shipping of equipment, warehouse management, property accountability, facilities maintenance, systems security and general office support.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities- Identify and resolve acquisition logistic issues and concerns
- Write Acquisition Logistics Support Management (ALSM) documentation to detail field and life cycle support logistic requirements
- Support annual asset inventory (includes daily monitoring of assets for change)
- Maintain and log software transfers (low to high systems)
- Track all assets using DD1149 document receipts and other ticketing systems
- Support shipping/transfer of hardware both locally, CONUS and OCONUS
- Support hardware/software acquisition process (vendor quotes, acquisition security process, tracking of orders)
- Write tickets to resolve office needs for printers, phones, servers, et cetera
- Create sign in/out logs, emergency exit diagrams, log for fax, seating charts, submit tickets for general office repair/replacement of office systems, furniture, phones, servers, et cetera
- Knowledge of Agency Policy 8-3, “Acquisition Logistics Management”
- Support systems to comply with ALS requirements detailed in Agency Policy 8-3, “Acquisition Logistics Management”.
- Ability to hand lift, load, and carry minimum 40 lbs. objects routinely through the work day
- Ability to climb ladders while carrying 25 lbs. objects
- Ability to stand continuously with no support through the work day
- Ability to bend, stoop, and work under desks and confined spaces
- Ability to safely use electric carts, dollies, (manual/electric) pallet jacks, and forklift
Required Qualifications- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Willingness & ability to drive cargo van throughout local Agency area to pick-up and/or deliver equipment
- Knowledge of Agency property account forms & procedures
- Experience with packing & shipping equipment
- Associate's degree and 10+ years of experience providing acquisition logistics support, of which a desired 5 years within the Intelligence Community. 12+ years of technical experience in lieu of a degree
Required Technical Skills- Experience identifying and resolving acquisition logistic issues and concerns
- Experience writing Acquisition Logistics Support Management (ALSM) documentation to detail field and life cycle support logistic requirements; Knowledge of Agency Policy 8-3, “Acquisition Logistics Management”
- Experience supporting annual asset inventory (includes daily monitoring of assets for change)

$45.50 - $61.61 an hour
Pay Range: $45.50 - $61.61 per hour* Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
