Manager of the Studios at the Library

As the Manager of the Studios at the Library, you will provide leadership for the Studio spaces and programming across the Allen County Public Library system. This includes oversight of our flagship Studio at the Main Library as well as coordination of our Studio equipment and collaborative programming across the county. You'll lead a team that offers well-equipped, welcoming spaces, services, and programs to crafters, creatives, entrepreneurs, tinkerers, and hands-on lifelong learners. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position, and will be required to work a mix of day, evening, and weekend hours.

• Experience leading STEM or STEAM-related programming for a variety of ages in a library setting.
• Experience successfully managing staff and/or programs across multiple locations.

• Master’s degree in computer science, library science, education, audio-visual communication or a related field; AND
• Four (4) years of science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics, or audiovisual instruction experience; OR
• An equivalent combination of training and experience 
• State of Indiana Public Librarian Certification (LC 4) within three years of hire date
• Valid Driver's License

• Compensation for this position falls under our M2 pay grade. The minimum is $60k per year; mid-range is $77k per year; maximum is $95k per year. Offers are based on previous related and comparable experience.
