We have an immediate opportunity for an Accounts Payable/Facilities Coordinator. As Enterprise support for travel claims and credit card administration and main point of contact for Enterprise facilities systems and facility administration specific to the Michigan Office, this role serves as a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career with a mission-centered nonprofit.
Responsibilities- Performs a range of routine accounting activities such as data entry, assist with maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.
- Responsible for employee travel and expense reporting process and reimbursements.
- Support credit card program. Responsible for reconciling credit card statements and processing credit card transactions.
- Completes reoccurring reconciliations as needed.
- Completes simple and complex calculations using spreadsheets and other software tools and assists with trial balances.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- May be responsible for the processing other accounting transactions or tasks.
- Assists with planning and coordinating office-wide processes such as facilities maintenance, space planning, moves, equipment installations, and other events or projects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for Enterprise-wide system support for facility programs including scheduling software, emergency contact program, and access card systems.
- Coordinate interactions with local building management on day-to-say items and for facility security and employee access.
- Support office scheduling software and emergency communications service, including employee questions/concerns.
- Handles incoming, outgoing, interoffice, and overnight mail.
- Manages courier service and shipping requests.
- Monitors inventory and places orders for office equipment, supplies, or provisions.
- Daily in-office attendance in the MI office.
- Supports office administrative functions and processes with assistance, backup, and coordination duties.
- May be responsible for performing company database or system administration tasks, including data input, reporting, user support, and upgrades.
- Addresses routine day-to-day problems or coordinates with stakeholders to obtain solutions.
- Provide training and guidance to others on systems and procedures.
Qualifications- HS diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and relevant training, etc.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting.
- Ability to work independently.
- Advanced knowledge of business processes.
- Mid to expert knowledge of Microsoft suite applications, especially MS Excel.
- Ability to facilitate communication in various forms between internal and external stakeholders.
$29.26 - $33.64 an hour

This salary range is not a guarantee of compensation, as the final offer amount will vary based on these factors.
