Your mission
As Music Market Data Analyst, within the Global Digital Business department, your mission is to provide market insights, and track, analyze and forecast market trends (paid streaming adoption, growth of top DSPs, etc.) in Believe’s strategic markets This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various internal stakeholders, contributing to impactful business decisions while gaining hands-on experience in data analysis and forecasting.
Your duties will include but not limited to the following
Track digital market growth
Keep up on internal and external data sources (monthly ingestion of DSPs reports, market news, etc.) to understand latest market trends in all markets Believe strategic markets
Deliver monthly updates to relevant stakeholders internally, at central and local level
Contribute to budget and long-term digital retail market forecasting for Believe
Maintain, update and optimize our market forecast model, to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Analyze latest trends and collect insights from relevant teams internally and externally (industry reports) to perform periodic forecast updates
Track accuracy of forecasts, and adapt model to increase accuracy
Document assumptions and key updates in the forecasting process for transparency
Benchmark external industry reports
Understand methodology used for key external market data sources
Benchmark external market data with internal figures, highlighting discrepancies for key stakeholders.
Educate and Communicate Market Trends
Provide support on internal projects requiring market analysis
Deliver bespoke market presentations on request
2-year+ of experience in data analysis, market research, or a related field.
Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI; experience with forecasting models is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in market trends and digital retail.
Effective communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Fluent English is mandatory to succeed in your role as part of a global company.
