Head of Digital Experience

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Digital & Customer Director, the Head of Digital Experience will lead our large, global Ecommerce Team, consisting of Visual Merchandising; Ecommerce Operations; Copywriting and UX Analysis.

As the senior leader within the team you will be responsible for all team strategy, output and processes within the team. You will work closely with a wide number of internal teams to ensure that we are providing seamless, high performing experiences that showcases our products and messages in an optimal way, across our global storefronts.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Responsible for the onsite experience of our customers, across web and app, and across all global storefronts. Ensuring that we offer our customers an engaging, optimised and high performing shopping experience
  • Leading a team of Ecommerce Assistants, Copywriters, Visual Merchandisers and UX Analysts, creating a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Responsible for defining the onsite search and merchandising strategy, working closely with the Visual Merchandising Team and our Search and Merchandising platform provider, Bloomreach
  • You will embrace a data-driven approach and embed a test-and-learn mindset, within the team, and across the wider business. We are striving to make continual improvements, both big and small
  • Working with UX Analysts, you will be responsible for the User Experience and Conversion Rate Optimisation roadmaps. Working closely with a number of internal teams to plan, prioritise, deliver, measure, and report on all tests
  • Be the face of the Ecommerce team, interfacing with peers across PLT and the wider Boohoo Group. Work closely with Marketing, IT, Studio, Buying and Merchandising teams to optimise key trends, promotions, categories and marketing messages
  • Oversee and lead on the onsite personalisation strategy – PLT is focused on harnessing first-party data throughout our onsite experience
  • Ensure products, product visibility and site navigation are fully optimised
  • Define reporting and analysis requirements, to demonstrate value and feed into wider business decisions 
  • Managing third party relationships and continually review the value that new and existing partners can add / are adding
  • Provide requirements to the tech team to further develop our tools and systems
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and be across new opportunities
  • Ensure the accurate delivery of campaign launches and promotions
