As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be an integral part of the hiring process. You will work collaboratively with hiring managers to identify future hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, as well as conducting reference checks and negotiating job offers.
You will play a critical role in attracting and retaining exceptional employees by developing and implementing a comprehensive talent acquisition plan. This includes continuously seeking out top talent, building a robust talent pipeline, and creating an employment brand that sets our organization apart.
In addition to your recruitment responsibilities, you will also be responsible for fostering positive relationships with candidates and employees. You will be the face of the organization, representing the company and its values to prospective employees. You will ensure that candidates have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process and that new hires are properly onboarded and integrated into the organization.
Overall, you will be a key player in the success of the organization by ensuring that it has the talent it needs to achieve its goals and objectives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates for open positions, including job postings, sourcing, and outreach initiatives.
• Work with HR Manager, Chief of Staff, and leadership team to determine current staffing needs and salary forecasts.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop job descriptions and requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including but not limited to posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and negotiating offers.
• Identify and build relationships with potential candidates through various sourcing channels, including but not limited to job boards, social media, and networking events.
• Conduct thorough screening and interviewing processes to assess candidates' qualifications and fit within our organization.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future opportunities within the agency.
• Utilize applicant tracking system (Workable) to efficiently track candidate progress and maintain accurate records.
• Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, selection, and retention of top talent.
• Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the Partners and Department Heads.
• Act as a brand ambassador for BPCM, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Collaborate with Finance, leadership, and HR to secure approvals before extending job offers.
• Onboard new employees in conjunction with HR Manager ensuring team members are integrated into hybrid work environment and teams.
• Develop relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, and professional networks to create a pipeline of diverse talent for current and future hiring needs.
• Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and recommend improvements to the recruitment process.
Skills
• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, past behavior based, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter Seat, as well as Workable applicant tracking system.
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple hiring processes simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Location: This role is based in our Brooklyn, NY office on a hybrid basis. This role is required in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000.00- $85,000.00. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location. Whether a prospective employee will be paid within the compensation range listed above will depend on a number of factors including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations, and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based.
