Job Description:
Copia is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Analyst to join our Information Technology team and contribute to our mission of delivering reliable and efficient IT services. The IT Analyst will be responsible for supporting our IT infrastructure, managing IT projects, and providing technical assistance to our staff. This role is suitable for candidates with entry level to 5 years of experience in IT.
The IT Analyst will report directly to the Director, Information Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• IT Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving network connectivity problems.
• System Administration: Assist in the administration of IT systems, including user account management, system updates, and security configurations.
• Project Management: Participate in IT project planning and execution, including the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades.
• Training and Documentation: Conduct individualized and group training sessions on newly adopted technologies and create documentation for IT policies and best practices.
• Cybersecurity: Enforce cybersecurity best practices and policies, including managing security certifications and data access.
• Vendor Management: Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.
• Helpdesk Administration: Support helpdesk operations, including onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors.
• Network Administration: Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and access points. Monitor network performance, configure security settings, and respond to alerts to ensure a secure and reliable IT environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook.
• Experience with network administration and security configurations.
• Ability to conduct training sessions and create technical documentation.
• Proficiency with tools and platforms such as CrowdStrike, Airtable, Asana, Smartsheet, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Cisco Meraki expertise, including:
- Configuring and managing Meraki firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Monitoring and responding to security alerts, including rogue AP detections.
- Optimizing wireless performance and implementing VLAN segmentation.
• Specific skills within Microsoft Entra, including:
- Identity Protection: Implementing and managing identity protection policies to safeguard user accounts and sensitive data.
- User Access Review (UAR): Conducting regular user access reviews to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Conditional Access Policies: Configuring and managing conditional access policies to control access based on risk levels.
- Audit Logs and Sign-in Reports: Enabling and managing audit logs and sign-in reports for compliance and security monitoring.
- Configuration Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of Entra configurations, including conditional access policies and custom domain names.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT infrastructure management.
• Experience with project management and vendor relations is a plus.
• Ability to work in the in the Washington, D.C. office a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Ability to travel <10%
