The Business Development Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Business Development team, helping to identify opportunities, maintain client relationships, and execute strategies to grow the business. This role involves research, coordination, and communication to ensure the success of business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and sales materials for client meetings.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain and update client databases, ensuring accurate and organized records.
- Support outreach efforts, including drafting emails and scheduling meetings.
- Monitor and track progress on business development initiatives and provide status reports.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of services to clients.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide support as needed.
- Attend and assist in planning industry events, networking sessions, and conferences.
- Prepare reports on sales metrics, client activity, and market trends.
- Perform administrative duties such as organizing files, taking meeting minutes, and managing calendars.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)

- Experience maintaining and updating client databases to ensure accuracy and organization.
- Track record of supporting outreach efforts, including drafting professional emails and scheduling meetings.
- Experience monitoring and tracking progress on business development initiatives and creating status reports.
- Background in coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely service delivery to clients.
- Experience assisting in planning and attending industry events, networking sessions, and conferences.
- Experience preparing detailed reports on sales metrics, client activity, and market trends.
- Administrative experience, including file organization, taking meeting minutes, and calendar management.
