Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer with 3 plus years of experience in web and mobile testing, including at least one year in mobile application testing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in testing iOS and Android applications using physical devices, emulators, and simulators, along with strong communication and client-facing skills. Experience in both manual and automation testing is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications, ensuring high-quality user experiences.

Perform functional, non functional, network testing(Mobile) regression, usability, cross platform testing and API testing.

Design, document, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams in an Agile environment.

Manage defects using tools like Jira or ClickUp.

Automated mobile testing using Java or Kotlin and maintain testing frameworks.

Monitor and maintain testing infrastructure, including alerting systems.

Develop manual testing strategies, document test cases, and track quality metrics.

Work with Allure TestOps to improve testing workflows and implement quality management processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: 2-3 years in QA, with at least 1 year in mobile testing (iOS and Android).

Web & Mobile Testing: Hands-on experience with native, hybrid, and web applications.

Mobile Testing Across Environments: Ability to test mobile applications across emulators, simulators, and physical devices to ensure comprehensive coverage and accurate results.

Automation: Proficiency in Java or Kotlin for test automation and frameworks like Appium.

Tools: Familiarity with Proxyman, Allure TestOps, Jira, Postman, and Git/GitHub.

Agile: Experience working in Agile environments.

API Testing: Competency in API testing, network throttling, and spoofing.

Client-Server Architecture: Strong understanding of client-server principles in mobile apps.

Version Control: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for managing test scripts and collaborating with development teams.

SQL Expertise: Proficiency in SQL for database querying, data validation, and backend testing.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with client-facing experience.

Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to analyze issues and ensure optimal app performance.
