The Contact Center Receptionist is a supportive position that directs phone calls to appropriate stores or individuals at Dunn Lumber. This position answers incoming calls, handles certain customer inquiries, and routes customers to the appropriate party based on their stated reason for calling. Receptionists will answer about 40 calls per hour during the peak summer months.
The current available schedule(s) are:
(Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:45PM)
OR
(M TH F 7:00am - 5:45pm & S 8:00am - 4:45pm)
Employees must possess the ability to perform the following duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have competent typing skills, proficient in general computer operations, and a clear and pleasant speaking tone over the phone. Prior experience using multi-line phone systems is preferred.
This is an entry level position with a paid two-week training period and continued learning while employed. The two-week training is completed on site with your supervisor or at a *Training Yard with the Training Department. The training for this position will focus on product knowledge, Point of Sale software, and yard operations.
*Training hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm and is required
This position is in a yard/retail environment. This position is largely active and requires employees to be on their feet for most of the shift. The noise level is moderate to loud.
