Description

We are now seeking a Research & Project Analyst to join our team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Utilize excellent research skills to collect and analyze information necessary for project success.
  • Manage project schedules, goals, milestones, and communications between involved stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation, coordination, and management of program solicitations, working plans, and presentations.
  • Assist in logistics planning and execution for workshops, meetings, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth operation of program review processes, including recruitment of a panel of research proposal reviewers, scheduling interviews, and creating/maintaining detailed supporting documentation.
  • Perform data analytics to assess geographic, gender, and ethnic diversity of stakeholders and participants.
  • Draft, develop, and support the process for annual reports production, presentations, and public communications from start to finish to summarize project outcomes and progress, including the development and deployment of abstracts.
  • Coordinate program oversight activities, including monitoring project financials and compliance with applicable requirements through desk reviews or site visits.
  • Use innovative tools and techniques to automate processes and improve program efficiency.
  • Collaborate with client leaders and partners to meet reporting and funding requirements.
  • Document and maintain detailed meeting minutes, including detailed technical or scientific discussions.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in science, engineering, or mathematics (preference given to candidates in computer or information science/engineering fields); Ph.D. is preferred. Equivalent experience and/or certifications may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing research projects, teams, and budgets, such as on a large research team, or experience providing this kind of support to government funding agencies.
  • Proven business and professional acumen in handling complex projects, finances, and flexibility in dealing with a diversity of opinions, rapid changes in prioritization, or limited availability of key decision makers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with program and project management principles.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) and calendar management using Outlook.
  • Skilled in utilizing Zoom, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Box, and Slack for effective collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and other online collaboration tools.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote) and calendar and schedule management using Outlook
  • Proficient with Zoom, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams, Box and Slack
  • Familiar with Microsoft SharePoint and/or other online collaboration tools
  • Must have a strong ability to identify and help capitalize on potential opportunities to automate and innovate processes to maximize project workflow efficiency.
