Commercial Construction Superintendent #1508

Our client, a growing commercial construction company based in Georgia is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to join their team. Founded by industry veterans with over 20 years of experience, they're looking for a talented leader to help build their commercial presence across the region. The Commercial Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities for commercial projects throughout Georgia and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from project initiation to completion
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless workflow
  • Enforce and maintain safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards
  • Manage construction schedules, budgets, and daily reports
  • Lead and motivate construction teams to foster a positive work environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges efficiently
  • Travel to job sites within a 200-mile radius of Georgia

  • Bachelors degree in construction management or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination
  • OSHA certification and thorough understanding of job site safety regulations
  • Proficiency in construction management software
  • Experience in the Georgia construction market
