    Job Description

    About the Role:
    KPFF Consulting Engineers is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Seattle office. With over 300 professionals in civil, transportation, and structural engineering, and as part of a nationwide team of 1,400 employees, you will shape our talent strategy. You will implement effective recruiting processes, attract top talent, and strengthen our team to meet both current and future needs.

    What You’ll Do:

    Recruiting & Sourcing:

    • Partner with managers to design and execute hiring strategies that meet the unique needs of each business unit.
    • Source, screen, and recruit candidates for a variety of roles using tools like LinkedIn and SmartRecruiters.
    • Build and maintain a talent pipeline to meet future staffing needs.

    Job Posting & Applicant Management:

    • Write, maintain, and update job postings in SmartRecruiters.
    • Respond promptly to applicant inquiries and keep them informed throughout the hiring process.

    Interviews & Candidate Experience:

    • Schedule and coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and complete reference checks.
    • Guide candidates through a seamless recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience at every stage.

    Career Fairs:

    • Coach career fair representatives and assist with recruitment events to attract top talent, as needed.

    Social Media & Employer Branding:

    • Brainstorm social media content that showcases KPFF’s culture and attracts potential candidates.

    Collaboration & Innovation:

    • Work with other Talent Acquisition Specialists to share ideas, best practices, and innovative approaches in a collaborative environment.
    • Identify ways to enhance recruitment practices using market insights and data analysis.

     

      Qualifications

      What You’ll Bring:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
      • 4+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
      • Expertise in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring engineering professionals.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (SmartRecruiters experience preferred).
      • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
      • A team-oriented mindset with energy, motivation, and adaptability.
      • A passion for building relationships and creating positive candidate experiences.

      Additional Information

      Compensation
      The salary for this role is $75,000 - $90,000, based on experience, education, and skills.
