Mission

The mission of the Senior Analytics engineer is to drive & leverage the data culture within lempire, so everyone becomes more data-oriented - and no decision is made without the relevant data.


Key Results

Within 3 months, you will have

Built new major data concepts for the company: Marketing and Sales KPIs, Product Usage, Customer segmentation...

Developed new data models using DBT to share, maintain and improve data concept defined upfront.

Fully manage our Business Intelligence solution, created your first Dashboards, trained the teams to use it.

Answered upcoming punctual data requests arising from all departments (Sales, Marketing, Product, Ops…)

Improved significantly the Data culture within lempire.

Maintained a Data Catalog / Data Bible to ensure all concepts are well documented.

Built an always up-to-date Data Analysis Roadmap accessible by anyone in the company.

Within 12 months, you will have

Managed to get daily usage of your analysis and models by all major business teams.

Deep dived critical KPIs of the company (Acquisition, Activation, Usage, Churn) and support product and marketing teams to leverage those insights

Supported the C-level for strategic decisions

Improve significantly our Customer Data Platform (CDP) by including attributes to enhance our understanding of customers.

Created an embedded 360° customer dashboard available in Holistics tool.

Contributed to dozens of topics involving the use of Data to make lempire always more efficient.

Built a solid Data Catalog and a scalable/robust process from Data Request to Production.

Preferred experience

5+ Years in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst position, in a fast growing environment.

Experience in using a modern data stack, using solutions such as : BigQuery, Fivetran, DBT core, Holistics, Jupyter Notebook

Advanced SQL and Python skills and data modelling

Strong business accumen - genuine interest in the business.

Ability to challenge business teams, and help them formulate their data needs.

Knowledge of general IT good practices - maintainable and commented code, GitHub…

Strong ability to iterate quickly and find the shortest path to value.

Advanced SQL Skills.
