About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager of Event Operations to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal to the successful execution of our events, encompassing end-to-end planning and management. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in event planning, team leadership, and strategic execution, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of event planning; visioning, logistics, site selection, audio/visual, production, and post-event evaluation.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 5–8 event coordinators, specialists, and assistants.
  •  Ensure timely achievement of goals, milestones, and deliverables for all events.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan, schedule, and coordinate event-related meetings. 
  • Establish clear communication plans for each client event to align expectations and deliverables.

  • Manage multiple events simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and organization.
  • Conduct post-event debriefs with clients to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Align event strategies with LRY Media Group’s business objectives. 
  • Oversee the implementation of LRY’s event planning processes by the team.
  • Partner with senior management to develop strategies for process improvement, event growth, and execution excellence.
  • Manage overall event budgets, ensuring expenses are tracked and reported to clients accurately.
  • Leverage internal platforms to document, submit, and maintain event-related activities and expenses.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and vendors.
  • Participate in recruiting and onboarding new employees.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment rooted in LRY’s core values.
  • Design and document new processes to enhance client experiences and organizational efficiency.


Education and Experience
  •  Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business, or a related field.
  •  Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in management and leadership.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with event management, logistics, or hospitality management. 
  • PMP preferred, CMM or CMP preferred.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in leading presentations and meetings.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to balance multiple events simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, with strong prioritization and negotiation skills. 


$57,000 - $63,000 a year
