Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer with over 10 years of proven expertise in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate is adept at developing comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks in continuous integration environments. This role is perfect for a candidate with experience in testing web applications, APIs, and microservices, who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor QA teams

• Develop and implement robust test strategies, detailed test plans, and comprehensive test cases in alignment with project goals and industry best practices.
• Define and establish testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, and security) to ensure optimal software quality
• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, C#, NUnit, and Katalon.
• Integrate automated testing solutions within continuous integration environments to streamline delivery pipelines.
• Execute end-to-end testing for web-based applications, APIs, and microservices across multiple environments.
• Develop and manage test data sets, validate production data, and automate test data generation to enhance testing efficiency.
• Mentor and lead QA teams, ensuring effective communication, resource management, and coordination across geographically distributed teams.
• Collaborate closely with development, architecture teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Oversee defect tracking and resolution, ensuring timely closure and continuous process improvements.
• Act as a quality consultant to review and optimize testing processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ability to perform application support
• Regular and reliable attendance able to work in a hybrid work schedule
• Ability to ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to
• Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to

• MS degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
• 10+ years of experience with SQL
• Over 10 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automated testing in CI/CD environments.
• Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience writing acceptance test plans and test scripts based on requirements.
• Experience with Test Management tools
• Experience documenting issues and working with developers to resolve issues.
• Lab information systems experience a plus
• HIPAA compliance experience strongly desired
• Ability to learn emerging AI based testing tools to create self-healing test
• Ability to understand C# code is strongly desired

Potential Hiring Range:

• Salary Range:  $110,000 – $133,,000 /yr.
• Salary offered is dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
