As a Digital Associate, you will play a crucial role in helping lead digital initiatives for Movement Labs. Alongside the Head of Digital and Vice President of Digital Organizing Services, you will support the development and execution of long and short-term strategic digital communications plans across internal and external programs. You will help manage and optimize digital ad campaigns to effectively reach target audiences and achieve desired outcomes.
This role is fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and execution of digital assets, including messaging research, proposal drafting, copywriting, content publishing, and other digital deliverables.
- Support the development of creative strategies by assisting with internal production and editing or coordinating with external partners to produce content.
- Work creatively, using all the digital communications tools at our disposal, to help create narratives for different campaigns and programs
- Monitor social platforms regularly to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices in digital advertising.
- Work with digital consultants and team members to support paid digital ad strategy, including ad placement, tracking, measuring, and reporting performance.
- Contribute to the analysis of campaign performance and message testing data, providing actionable insights in regular reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience supporting digital outreach or advertising campaigns, preferably in a political or advocacy setting.
- Familiarity with developing digital strategies and creating content for social media, websites, and other platforms to drive engagement.
- Basic understanding of digital advertising platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or Twitter Ads.
- Interest or experience in creating graphics, page layouts, or design templates.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn about randomized control trials, ad campaign optimization techniques, including A/B testing and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist with multiple projects.
- Passionate about fighting fascism and electing Democrats.
- Experience in political campaigns or progressive organizations is a plus but not required.
- Annual salary of $57,500 as part of a transparent salary structure with clear levels of advancement.
