About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in inventory system management, including receiving incoming parts, and maintaining accurate material inventory across a large number of components. This position requires a strong understanding of material management and inventory systems, logistics, and disposition of materials according to specified criteria.
Responsibilities
- Inventory and Receiving Management
- Oversee the receiving process, ensuring materials and parts are checked in and recorded accurately.
- Manage internal part transfers
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular updates in inventory management systems.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Maintain an organized inventory system, tracking parts, materials, and tools.
- Perform regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, and production teams to ensure smooth flow of materials.
- Assist with material handling, labeling, and storage in compliance with safety standards.
- Shipment of manufactured components
Qualifications
- High School Diploma plus 5+ years of experience; additional certifications in Inventory Management preferred. College degree plus 2+ years of experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with managing inventory or material handling in a manufacturing setting is a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and document deficiencies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management systems and tools.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams, and management.
