Junior Support Specialist

NXT GIG is excited to welcome a Junior Support Specialist to our growing team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, providing essential support and assistance to enhance their experience with our systems and applications. You will develop your technical skills while solving problems and learning from experienced team members. Responsibilities

• Provide initial support and troubleshooting for user inquiries regarding software and hardware issues.
• Document user requests and technical issues in the ticketing system for tracking and follow-up.
• Assist users in resolving issues through phone, email, and in-person communication.
• Collaborate with senior support staff to escalate unresolved issues as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical knowledge and support skills.
• Contribute to maintaining documentation and knowledge bases for support processes.
• Provide feedback on recurring issues to improve systems and procedures.

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Some experience in a customer service or technical support role is a plus, but entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of computer systems, software applications, and networking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems or help desk software is an advantage.
