Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements and technical specifications.
• Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance testing strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or in a similar testing role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
