Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Product/Project Manager to join our team. This dual role requires a unique blend of product management and project management skills to drive the development and success of our motion capture products while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management:
- Define and execute the product roadmap, aligning with company goals and market demands.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop product specifications and features.
- Gather and prioritize customer feedback to inform product improvements and innovations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Interface with Engineering, Sales and Management to define and manage project requirements and scope through development.
Project Management:
- Manage complex, cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.
- Develop and oversee project plans, budgets, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Provide hands-on management and quality assurance throughout project phases.
- Drive process improvements and implement Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Track progress, report key metrics, and ensure timely resolution of risks and issues.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for smooth project execution.
- Align projects with business objectives and product strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product management and project management, preferably in the technology of motion capture, vision metrology or optical sensing industry.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and project management methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset.
