Social Media Assistant and Video editor for US-based company

We are currently looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager and Video Editor to support one of our US-based clients. This unique role combines social media management with video editing to enhance the online presence and engagement of the brand.

Responsibilities:

.Community Engagement:

• Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms.
• Provide accurate answers to basic finance questions (e.g., "What is a HYSA?" or "50/30/20 rule") using tools like ChatGPT.
• Communicate details about our financial products and courses.

Content Creation:

• Design visually appealing carousel posts and thread content using Canva.
• Research trending finance topics to create relevant and engaging posts.
• Assist in writing engaging captions and post descriptions.

Thumbnail Creation:

• Design compelling thumbnails for YouTube videos and social media content.
• Conduct A/B testing on thumbnails to improve click-through rates.

Social Media Support:

• Promote affiliate links through Instagram and YouTube story slides.
• Monitor and manage automation tools such as ManyChat.
• Track and update link performance using Bitly.

General Administrative Tasks:

• Assist the Social Media Manager with daily operations.
• Ensure content quality across platforms.
• Provide regular updates to the team via Slack and participate in virtual meetings.

• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads).
• Basic knowledge of finance and personal wealth-building concepts.
• Experience using design tools (e.g., Canva) and automation platforms (e.g., ManyChat).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with analytics tools for tracking performance metrics (CTR, engagement rates).

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with content creation tools and strategies.
• Ability to write clear and engaging copy for social media.
• Experience in A/B testing for thumbnails or posts.
