The Opportunity That Awaits You:    

The senior demand and distribution planner is responsible for monitoring the raw material availability to release work orders as planned and to schedule, coordinate, and monitor the weekly Production work orders through the complete production cycle to achieve the quarterly Build Plan and the expected Finished Good inventory. The position requires analytical skills and the ability to measure the overall execution of the Production Schedule.  

The candidate will be required to coordinate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D and Purchasing to identify and escalate scheduling conflicts and capacity constraints, manage engineering build orders, track raw material deliveries, safety stock levels, and mitigate line downs and aging work orders.  

• Responsible for identifying the domestic and international demand of all products and install kits items to support sales and revenue.  
• Responsible for identifying the domestic and international demand of trunk stock, service items and FRUs to support the Field Service team.  
• Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, Marketing, and Revenue Planning to understand changes to the forecast and its impact on the Operations team. 
• Compare forecast to actual sales and escalate any discrepancy that could impact inventory targets or that could be a back-order risk. 
• Manage the inventory in domestic and international 3PLs to always keep healthy inventory and submit shipping requests to replenish in a timely manner. 
• Work closely with the Master Scheduler and Logistics to facilitate the development of allocation decision at 3PLs when FGI is in short supply. 
• Publish accurate and timely reports to communicate Forecast vs. Actual status to the stakeholders.  
• Report regularly on Operations and Production metrics and KPI's, identify trends and issues, and suggest counter measures to improve KPI performance. 
• Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance  

• Bachelor’s degree orequivalent work experience. 
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Make-to-Stock Production Planning rolein themedical device industry or other manufacturing regulated industries  
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in ERP/MRP systems and Excel. 
• Experience in demand planning, including the ability to compare forecasts to actual sales and escalate discrepancies that may impact inventory targets or create back-order risks. 
• Experience collaborating with distribution centers to ensure product availability and alignment with inventory targets. 
• Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills. 
• Foster strong collaboration across multiple departments to ensure alignment on schedules and priorities. 
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills by identifying potential scheduling conflicts and escalating in a timely manner to minimize supply disruptions. 
• Excellent time management and organization skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.  

• APICS Certified 
• Salesforce experience 
• Master’s degree 
• Travel Requirements domestic and international 10% 
• Be willing to work in the office (Hybrid schedule available)

For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $120,000-125,000 per year.

Plus, eligibility for an annual bonus and equity/RSUs.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY

Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
