Minnesota Licensed Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Reimbursement Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process referrals, verify benefit information, and acquire initial authorizations for patient services
  • Resolve pending coverage issues and claim denials while communicating accurate authorization information
  • Provide consulting and training services for external customers and serve as a resource for pharmacy services


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or with revenue cycle and health insurance
  • Revenue Cycle Certification (HFMA - CRCR) or Pharmacy certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, healthcare, or related field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of ICD9 and ICD10 coding (preferred)
  • 2 years of relevant experience using an enterprise software system in healthcare or insurance (preferred)
