The HR Operations Analyst at Risant Health will report directly to the Human Resources leader. This role involves supporting daily HR operations, developing HR-related policies and strategies, and assisting other Risant functions. The analyst will track and complete key HR tasks, support the growth of Risant by building the HR function, workforce development, and addressing emerging business consulting needs. The HR Operations Analyst will contribute to the organization's success by leveraging an agile approach in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Operations Analyst will handle three main categories of HR tasks and general business consulting:
HR Centers of Excellence Leadership:
- Talent Acquisition: Manage job postings, draft offer letters, coordinate onboarding and orientation, work with recruitment and search firm vendors, and monitor pre-hire background checks to attract top talent.
- Compensation: Maintain offer and compensation data to develop a long-term compensation database and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., FLSA).
- Employment Policies: Educate and interpret company-wide employment policies and procedures, ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and regularly update policies to reflect changes in laws and best practices.
- Employee Relations: Promote a positive work environment, conduct training sessions, and manage employee exit processes.
HR Operations:
- General HR Contact Center Management: Address and escalate HR-related employee issues and concerns to provide accurate, timely, and reliable HR support.
- PEO Vendor Management: Collaborate with Paychex, Risant Health's PEO provider, to ensure smooth coordination of HR functions and resolve any issues.
- Payroll Management: Administer company payroll accurately and efficiently through a payroll vendor every two weeks, ensuring timely payments, calculating deductions and additional earnings, and managing payroll-related communications.
- Benefits Administration: Manage daily administration of employee benefits, including answering employee benefits questions, coordinating new hire enrollments and annual open enrollments, processing benefits changes, and handling terminations. Manage medical-related leave requests and escalate as needed. Benefit programs include medical, dental, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), and other health and welfare programs.
- New Employee Onboarding: Oversee the new hire onboarding process, including coordinating orientation scheduling, conducting orientations, completing necessary paperwork, and facilitating new hire training.
- Performance Evaluations: Support the annual performance evaluation process, including training on the performance evaluation tool and monitoring completion.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information.
General Business Consulting & Support:
- Job Description Development: Partner with leaders to review and revise job descriptions and maintain an up-to-date job description database.
- Process Improvement: Analyze business processes and operations to identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with management and stakeholders to design solutions.
- HR Expertise: Stay current with federal, state, and local employment regulations and provide research on HR best practices and trends.
