Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

$22 - $24.00/hourly

Summary:

The Customer Service Representative role is responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of the Company. Ideal Customer Service candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills during order processing from start to finish to ensure customer satisfaction. The primary role of the Customer Service Representative is to successfully interface with customers, suppliers and the sales team through effective order management and world class service.

Essential Functions:

  • Take charge in customer support relations and the sales team’s needs.
  • Receives and processes sales orders and purchase orders daily.
  • Interfaces with customers to track orders, resolve challenges and expedite shipments.
  • Provide a pleasant phone voice and positive attitude.
  • Generates accurate bills of lading for shipments from various warehouses.
  • Assists with maintaining monthly freight accrual worksheets.
  • Performs accounts receivable follow-up and supplies weekly progress reports.
  • Maintains and tracks local inventories.
  • Ability to learn quickly, retain information, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • High degree of self-discipline and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of customer service experience.
  • Preferred experience in customer service within a distribution or manufacturing environment.
