We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of QA to lead our QA teams, who serve as the core of our Agile squads and act as the functional referents for our products.

Job Summary:

As the Head of QA at Skeepers, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and elevating the quality of our SaaS MarTech products. You will lead a team of highly skilled QA professionals, oversee the adoption of Agile methodologies, and utilize tools such as Squash TM, Jira, GitLab, Cypress, Postman, SQL, Gatling, and ISTQB principles to ensure our products meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Agile QA Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and empower QA professionals embedded within Agile squads, championing their role as functional referents.
    • Drive a culture of collaboration, agility, and quality within the QA teams.
  2. QA Strategy and Process Enhancement:
    • Develop and execute a forward-looking QA strategy that aligns with Agile principles and company objectives.
    • Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies, promoting Agile testing approaches.
  3. Tool Utilization and Expertise:
    • Leverage a comprehensive suite of tools, including Squash TM, Jira, GitLab, Cypress, Postman, SQL, Gatling, and ISTQB principles, to optimize QA processes and reporting.
  4. Quality Assurance Planning:
    • Collaborate closely with Agile squads to formulate QA plans and test strategies for SaaS MarTech projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
    • Qualify defects
    • Define and prioritize user stories and test cases for QA sprints.
  5. Test Automation Excellence:
    • Promote and enhance test automation practices using Cypress, Postman, Gatling, and other relevant tools, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in test automation.
  6. Database and SQL Testing:
    • Utilize SQL expertise to perform thorough database testing, ensuring data integrity and accuracy within our SaaS MarTech solutions.
  7. Performance Testing:
    • Lead performance testing efforts using Gatling, ensuring our products can handle the demands of our users.
  8. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Foster strong collaboration between QA, development, product management, and other teams, ensuring alignment on quality objectives.
    • Utilize Jira for effective issue tracking, reporting, and Agile project management.
  9. Quality Metrics and Reporting:
    • Define, track, and report quality metrics and KPIs, providing regular insights to stakeholders, including executives.
    • Implement Agile testing dashboards for continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in QA leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality SaaS MarTech products in Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks, including Cypress, Postman, and Gatling.
  • Proficiency in SQL for database testing.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
