As we are entering the scale-up phase to grow 3x in the next 3 years and are looking for an experienced CFO to join our Founders on the C-level team. This is an opportunity for an experienced leader to use their accumulated knowledge and expertise to drive the next stage of growth in a high-scaling, international environment.

Your responsibilities at snuggs:

• Act as a strategic partner to the executive team and board, providing financial insights to shape company strategy in the scale-up phase
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Lead finance teams, including accounting, controlling, FP&A, and procurement (10+ members).
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Drive cash flow optimization, capital structure management, and financing efforts.
• Develop efficient taxation strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
• Automate workflows, implement ERP systems and utilize BI tools like Tableau.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks while supporting business growth.
• Provide commercial insights for pricing, market-entry, and cost efficiency.

• 15+ years of finance experience, with 7+ years in C-level or C-1 leadership roles.
• Experience in a C-level role within businesses with revenues exceeding €60M, operating across multiple markets.
• Proven track record in FMCG, retail, manufacturing, or DTC industries.
• Managed teams of 10+ members across finance functions.
• Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Builder mindset: Demonstrated strong ownership, resilience, and ability to learn from past challenges.
• Someone using their accumulated experience, not doing it for the first time.
• International mindset: Experience working in multinational environments and group structures.
• Adaptability: Thrives in high-scaling, fast-paced environments, and the scale-up phase.
• Knowledge of organizational structures and experience refining processes to support scalability.
• Proven ability to navigate and excel in complex, high-growth, international organizations.
• High ethical standards and the ability to make decisions align with our values.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes.
• Highly analytical and quantitative-minded; intellectually curious; a self-starter with the ability to manage projects independently.
• Very detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain and keep track of multiple information sources.
• FCCA or ACCA is a big plus
