About The Role


As Solar Landscape’s Marketing Coordinator, you will support the Marketing Director in managing national conferences and events, handling logistics, coordinating sponsorships, and ensuring smooth communication with partners. You’ll assist in content development for presentations and materials to support the business development team, as well as help with marketing and lead generation efforts.  You’ll also manage database and CRM updates, track event budgets, manage inventory, and assist with reporting to evaluate event performance. This fast-paced, dynamic role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. This is a hybrid role based out of the Asbury Park, NJ office. 


Responsibilities
  • Event Coordination & Logistics: Manage the company’s participation in national conferences, including coordinating logistics with event hosts. Oversee booth/table setup, ensuring all materials and resources are prepared and delivered on time. Handle all administrative aspects of event participation, including registration, shipping, travel arrangements, and on-site support. Coordinate with vendors to secure event materials, booths, promotional items, and supplies. 
  • Sponsorship & Partnership Management: Collaborate with event organizers to finalize sponsorship opportunities and ensure all sponsorship benefits (signage, speaking opportunities, promotional materials) are maximized. Act as the support liaison for sponsorship coordination, ensuring smooth communication with sponsors and fulfillment of all benefits. 
  • Marketing & Lead Generation: Manage mass lead imports for email marketing, segment creation, and execution of email marketing campaigns. Oversee inbound lead management and intake, ensuring leads are accurately tracked in the system. Update approved content on the company website. Manage paid ad content schedule and links, ensuring timely publication and promotion of relevant materials. 
  • Database & CRM Management: Maintain and optimize event and lead databases, ensuring data is accurate, organized, and up to date in Microsoft Dynamics. Regularly update and maintain Microsoft Dynamics for event data, lead management, and marketing activities. Import and analyze data into Dynamics, generating reports as necessary to track event and marketing performance. 
  • Budget & Inventory Management: Track event budgets and marketing inventory, including swag items, ensuring timely ordering and replenishment.Provide regular updates on budget spend, event progress, and outcomes. 
  • Research & Reporting: Collect and analyze data in Excel (contact info for events, email marketing, etc.) for effective lead generation and marketing campaign execution. Generate general reporting in Dynamics as necessary to assess event performance and business development outcomes relationship. 
  • Content Development: Assist in preparing presentations for conferences and developing content for the business development team to enhance event engagement and sales efforts. 


Qualifications
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel for creating reports, dashboards, and managing event tracking and budgets; experienced in using Microsoft Dynamics for CRM and event data management. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple conferences and tasks, collaborate effectively with event organizers and internal teams, and maintain attention to detail. 
  • Experience in content development, including creating presentations, marketing materials, and supporting business development efforts. 
  • Self-driven and proactive, able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle challenges efficiently. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, with 1-3 years of experience in marketing, events, or project coordination (preferred). 
  • Previous experience in event coordination, conference management, or marketing support is a plus.
