We have great traction today, working with over 50 highly engaged international law firms including 3/5 of the UK Magic Circle and a sizable segment of the US AMLAW 200.
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to lead our email outreach efforts primarily targeting partners in UK/Europe and US law firms, as well as other verticals of interest. The ideal candidate will have very strong communication skills, the ability to identify decision-makers, and a keen understanding of the legal industry’s landscape. This role focuses on generating leads & to generate interest to use our application within existing key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Research: Conduct detailed research to identify key decision-makers, specifically partners, within top-tier NA and international law firms across different offices. Map out firms’ organisational structures to target partners based on practice areas and strategic fit/value proposition. Providing excellent research that will support account and target strategy.
- Email Outreach: Craft beautifully written and personalised, compelling email sequences aimed at initiating conversations with law firm practice group chairs, partners, and senior associates. Use sales automation tools (such as HubSpot) to track and optimise outreach campaigns. Follow up with partners to nurture interest through multiple touchpoints.
- AE Support – Support the regional AE’s to organise meetings, roadshows, and any other events that provide lead generation support.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on firm size, practice area, partner seniority, and business alignment with company offerings. Schedule meetings or demos with qualified partners and hand off to sales executives for engagement.
- Database & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities, interactions, and lead status in HubSpot and/or email campaign management system. Continuously update and refine the list of targeted firms and contacts, working closely with the sales team and marketing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, account executives, client success teams to refine targeting strategies and improve outreach effectiveness. Provide feedback on messaging and campaign performance to improve overall success.
- Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Some experience in sales development, business development, or lead generation, preferably within the legal, SaaS, or professional services sectors would be optimal but not essential.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to understand legal practice areas and align solutions with partners’ needs. Proficiency with email automation tools, CRM systems, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Ability to craft targeted, value-driven messaging that resonates with senior law firm partners.
- Mindset: Results-oriented with a strong drive for success. High attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven start-up environment. High attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality interactions with high-value leads.

- Number of new contacts/leads generated.
- Number of qualified meetings set and attended
- Engagement rates on email outreach campaigns (open, reply, and conversion rates).
