Job Overview


We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern with a to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a positive attitude, and is open to tackling new challenges. The intern will gain hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliations, audit preparation, and financial reporting.


This paid position will be part-time (up to 10 hours per week) and fully remote.


Responsibilities:
  • Enter accounts payable invoices into the accounting system
  • Maintain and update vendor records
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
  • Support the finance team in audit preparations, including gathering and organizing financial documents
  • Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and contribute to projects as needed
  • Assist in preparing ad-hoc financial reports


Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Finance, Accounting, Business or related degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially pivot tables, VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP formulas, Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • A positive attitude, openness to feedback, and a strong desire to learn and grow


Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online and Bill.com
  • Previous experience working as an Accounting or Finance Intern
