About the Role:

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who thrives in an unstructured, fast-paced environment and can craft their own strategic roadmap to drive performance metrics, including ticket sales and event attendance for the CMX Summit.

You will play a key role in executing and optimizing marketing campaigns across social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Ads. This role is pivotal in driving business results through innovative content creation, strategic social media outreach, and performance marketing tactics.

The role will be 3 months + 3 months contract, specifically to help the team prep for this conference, attend the conference and later do a bit more work if the conference was successful. After 6 months, if the relationship is really working out, we will consider further collaboration.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and execute marketing campaigns to drive ticket sales for CMX Summit, our flagship annual event.
  • Develop and optimize email marketing strategies to nurture leads, boost conversions, and keep our audience engaged.
  • Craft compelling content that showcases the value of CMX Summit—think blog posts, social media, landing pages, and more.
  • Lead organic social media efforts, leveraging LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms to build excitement and engagement.
  • Test, learn, and iterate quickly—if something isn’t working, pivot fast and try something new.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, community, and marketing teammates to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize impact.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize for growth.
  • Report on ticket sales and all revenue weekly. Use these reports to inform how to change tactics and strategies moving forward

Who You Are:

  • A creative storyteller who knows how to turn a compelling narrative into ticket sales.
  • A strategic thinker who thrives on testing and iteration—when something’s not working, you fix it fast.
  • Someone with a proven track record in email marketing, content marketing, and organic social media strategy.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • A natural collaborator who loves working with teams to bring ideas to life

Preferred Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, content marketing, or digital marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).
  • Strong writing skills—you can craft messages that convert.
  • Experience in event marketing or community-building is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.) to track success.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot Marketing suite is a big plus
