The Role

An outstanding opportunity awaits you to lead the development of Addepar’s document management solution—complete with seamless connectivity to major cloud providers—while balancing user experience with a robust platform strategy. As a Platform Product Manager, you will collaborate with engineering, design, and client-facing teams to deliver a scalable and compliant system that empowers clients to securely manage and share their critical financial documents. By focusing on intuitive functionality and reliable performance, you’ll drive the overarching product vision and ensure successful implementation across Addepar’s product ecosystem.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $136,000 - $213,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement the product vision for a robust document management platform, including seamless connectivity with major cloud storage providers, tailored to the needs of Addepar clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine their document storage, sharing, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead development of key features from requirements definition through delivery, ensuring strong architecture, APIs, and extensibility.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Security, and Legal teams to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable platform performance.
  • Manage the full product development lifecycle from conceptualization to launch, focusing on continuous improvement, platform extensibility, and robust integrations.
  • Ensure the platform remains competitive by staying current with trends in cloud integration, security, and document management best practices.
  • Regularly communicate updates to collaborators and gather customer feedback to refine and improve the product experience.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with platform products or document/content management solutions.
  • Previous experience integrating with Box or similar cloud storage solutions, with a solid understanding of APIs, authentication protocols, and security best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate client requirements into scalable platform solutions that deliver measurable business value, particularly in a B2B context.
  • Exceptional cross-functional communication skills to align engineers, designers, and go-to-market teams around a shared product vision.
  • Adept at leveraging metrics, client feedback, and user research to drive decisions, refine the product roadmap, and measure product success

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Addepar or similar wealth management platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with scrum-based agile methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management.
  • Proven track record in building or managing products with complex integrations, extensible frameworks, or developer-friendly APIs.

PHISHING SCAM WARNING: Addepar is among several companies recently made aware of a phishing scam involving con artists posing as hiring managers recruiting via email, text and social media. The imposters are creating misleading email accounts, conducting remote “interviews,” and making fake job offers in order to collect personal and financial information from unsuspecting individuals. Please be aware that no job offers will be made from Addepar without a formal interview process. Additionally, Addepar will not ask you to purchase equipment or supplies as part of your onboarding process. If you have any questions, please reach out to TAinfo@addepar.com.
