Platform Product Manager, SalesTech

The Community You Will Join:

The Enterprise Technology team within BizTech, manages a complex and innovative ecosystem of products and applications, and is responsible for driving key outcomes for stakeholders who are responsible for building and nurturing relationships for various purposes. Some of these include:

  • Increase high quality supply on the platform
  • Identify opportunities and expand LTV of existing customers
  • Ensure changes to external government policy landscape is understood proactively
  • Ensure Airbnb builds relationships and partners with all stakeholders such as policymakers, lawmakers, airbnb ambassadors effectively

The Difference You Will Make:

Airbnb is constantly evolving and the various platforms within Enterprise Technology Team (Supply Platform, Policy Platform, Data Platform etc.) work in partnership with the business teams to help deliver new and exciting initiatives. The team is beginning a journey to rethink and re-architect how we solve problems by building scalable platforms to address the ever changing needs of our broader stakeholders 

Some of the problems we are trying to solve:

  • Given broader objectives, determine the best course of action for various personas and their dependencies
  • Bring significant efficiencies in performing the various types of actions (such as promotions, identifying leads, policy changes, customer preparatory activities etc.)
  • Build critical data assets needed for measuring performance and attribution of the actions, in easy to consumable way
  • Platform that can easily adapt to the business needs and support variety of business use cases and personas

A Typical Day: 

  • Establish the vision for a product or platform based on the value we can provide
  • Establish /Iterate product strategy and build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners and leadership/executive teams
  • Define goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results
  • Efficiently execute to ship products, deliver impact for our business and users and advance towards long term strategy
  • Communicate concisely with all stakeholders and influence outcomes
  • Lead the ideation, research, customer discovery and bring clarity on what user needs to be solved that drives necessary business outcomes
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform product success & health

Your Expertise:

  • 9+ years of product management experience
  • Experience with building products around customer relationship and sales tech
  • Experience with bringing significant efficiencies with Automations, Data, Insights & AI (foundational models & ml models)
  • Experience working on platform products - building products that can be leveraged by a variety of business customers
  • Experienced in both building custom solutions and launching integrations with 3rd party products and technologies

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
