We are on the lookout for a Senior Procurement Category Manager - Professional Services to join the Global Procurement team in Berlin, Germany on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. 

Delivery Hero is running the next generation global online food-ordering platform. Our awesome international team already operates in 70 countries worldwide to ensure hungry customers get the fastest way to their favourite takeaway food. The company has grown from its inception in 2011 to become the world's largest food-ordering network. We are looking for a Senior Category Manager Professional Services (f/m/d) to join our Central Procurement Team on its mission.

Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, experienced in managing the Professional Services Category  as well as good at getting things done and managing a diverse set of stakeholders. • You will develop, drive, execute  and maintain global strategic procurement for IT and non-IT Professional Services categories with consultancy companies (with main focus on but not restricted to only Big4), law firms and agencies to deliver cost savings, quality improvements, and supplier innovation.

• Work in close cooperation with senior leaders from respective business units and  align procurement initiatives with business priorities.

• Manage relationships with key external partners, ensuring long-term value creation and performance management.

• Drive procurement excellence and development initiatives, including process improvements, risk mitigation, and sustainability goals.

• Optimize profit contribution from strategic procurement activities.

• Manage relationships with major external partners for categories in scope.

• Interact and drive strategy with adequate procurement responsibilities in our local entities.

• You have at least 5+ years of experience in this category management / procurement field or comparable experience.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• You focus on sustainable optimization of profit contribution from strategic procurement activities.

• You have advanced knowledge in own discipline and other related disciplines within the function.

• You have a good interpretation of internal/external business challenges and can recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. You are aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market

• You solve complex problems, taking a new perspective on existing solutions and can guide others in solving complex problems.

• You have a proven track of results achieved in this category where your contribution by providing excellent organisation and  communications skills were driven by accountability and responsibility.

• You have experience working in a geographically diverse environment, managing stakeholders from different backgrounds, motivations  and mindsets across the globe.

• You are a team  player also who has the creative mindset to work closely with team members to optimize the function, be an ambassador of procurement activities to stakeholders and  master in global procurement.
