As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Humi, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving high-volume hiring efforts to scale our team and fuel our growth. You’ll collaborate with leaders to identify top talent, build robust pipelines, and help assemble the team that will take us to the next level. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave and high growth scaling. We anticipate the duration to be between 6 - 12 months but will depend on business needs.


This position can be done 100% remotely from anywhere within Canada.

What will you be doing as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist?

Our Canadian team is home to 130+ outstanding employees across sales, marketing, operations, client servicing, product, and engineering – and we’re scaling rapidly! As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll take responsibility for scaling this Hub and delivering all of our hiring needs at pace. You'll apply your specialist knowledge of technical roles and your deep recruitment expertise to find exceptional talent at all levels. You will partner closely with our leaders across the business, advising on hiring strategies and ensuring the successful delivery of all their hiring needs. Finally, you’ll balance quality and efficiency to deliver a fantastic candidate experience while hiring at volume and pace.

3. Increasing employer brand awareness and consideration


Key Accountabilities:
  • Talent Attraction: You’ll attract the best passive and active talent in the market, via a combination of employer brand campaigns, advertising, events and headhunting techniques. To do this, you’ll clearly communicate our mission, vision and culture, sharing our story with candidates.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver an exceptional candidate experience for all candidates (both successful and unsuccessful).
  • Candidate Assessment: Use a combination of interviews and technical assessments to identify the best-suited candidates. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with our leaders to develop highly effective hiring strategies.
  • Process improvements: Identify and deliver improvements across the Talent function, driving increased efficiency and operational excellence across the team.


What are we looking for in a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist?
  • You have 5+ years’ experience as a recruiter (some of which is in-house),  with experience hiring across a range of roles/levels 
  • You operate with velocity and can handle volume recruiting with quick turnaround deliverables
  • You are a strong communicator and storyteller
  • You are team-oriented and can continue to thrive while working independently in fast-paced environments  
  • Experience in SaaS is a bonus
