Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lender with a strong background in business banking, credit analysis, and financial spreading. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing commercial loan relationships, assessing creditworthiness, and structuring financial solutions to meet client needs. This role requires a deep understanding of financial statements, risk analysis, and loan structuring, along with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships. This position offers hybrid flexibility 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:- Business Development & Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients, referral sources, and industry professionals.
- Identify lending opportunities and structure customized financial solutions to meet client needs.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial loans while ensuring high credit quality and risk management.
- Cross-sell business banking products, including treasury management and deposit services.
- Loan Structuring & Credit Analysis:
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to assess borrower creditworthiness.
- Conduct financial spreading and ratio analysis to evaluate business performance and loan eligibility.
- Structure, negotiate, and present loan proposals for commercial real estate, business acquisition, working capital, and equipment financing.
- Collaborate with underwriting and credit teams to ensure proper loan documentation, compliance, and risk assessment.
- Portfolio & Risk Management:
- Monitor loan portfolios to identify potential risks, covenant compliance, and credit deterioration.
- Work closely with credit officers to manage loan renewals, modifications, and workout strategies as needed.
- Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact lending activities.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, credit policies, and internal risk management guidelines.
- Prepare and present credit packages to loan committees and senior management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
$90,000 - $125,000 a year
This position also includes commission.
