This role is based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
This role is also open to those based in Los Angeles remotely.
About the Role
What you will do:
Build trusted creator relationships: Every day you’ll work with a small portfolio of our largest creators and earn their trust that the Patreon platform and team is essential to unlocking the earnings and connection with their fan base that allows their creative business to flourish.
Drive earnings and product adoption: Across your portfolio, accelerate each creator’s growth trajectory by coaching them on how best to use product features, as well as increase traffic to their Patreon page, improve fan-to-member conversion rates, and maximize long-term retention of existing members.
Level up creators’ product mastery: Coach creator teams on how to use the Patreon platform, new product launches, and third-party integrations to achieve their membership goals.
Partner with Product: Along with your fellow Partner Managers, you’ll be embedded in a few product pods, ensuring that your creators’ voices are heard.
Creatively execute on cross-functional solutions: Work with creators in your portfolio to address their unique business-critical needs and goals through motions like enrolling in product testing with Product Marketing, setting up feedback sessions with Product, working with Data Science on additional data reports and more.
Partner on marketing opportunities: Coordinate with cross-functional Patreon teams to showcase your creators in promotional, event, and press opportunities that are mutually beneficial to the creator and Patreon.
Inspire evangelism for Patreon: Translate the investment we make into strategic creators into the strength of their advocacy for Patreon, driving more fan and creator interest in the platform.
Skills and experience you possess:
3+ years of experience in creator success or creator management: Experience managing deep, long-term partnerships with a small portfolio, particularly with creators making podcasts and video content.
Product and revenue expansion: Proven success in an environment with revenue and product adoption growth targets with each managed account.
Applying data insights to customer needs: Digging into insights about performance and translating them into customized, actionable steps for customers.
Cross-functional partnerships: Strong relationships and execution with internal stakeholders across marketing, communications, customer support, product, product marketing, data science, engineering and more.
Projects you may work on:
Revamp of a creator’s tiers to drive more member acquisition and sustainability for the creator
Identify creators who would be a good fit for early testing of new product features, collaborate cross functionally to enroll them and ensure a positive experience, providing essential feedback to the product team
Partner with product teams to share insights from your work with creators, advocating for their feedback and needs, and influencing go-to-market strategies that affect your portfolio
Partner with a creator to develop a plan for content and promotion in conjunction with a major launch for their fans
Manage a creator’s involvement in a Patreon marketing event to ensure a great experience for the creator and impact for Patreon
