We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will drive sales and business relationships within the assigned Water Treatment market(s). Your day to day will consist of taking customer calls, following up on leads, and providing project quotes to customers. To be successful, you will need to partner with marketing leaders in the organization to help adjust our voice of service to the customer.

Responsibilities
  • Present, promote, and sell our products and services to existing and prospective customers through regularly scheduled meetings and events.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Conduct initial evaluation of project onsite or through telephone evaluation to provide customers with project estimates.
  • Perform cost-¬benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication.
  • Analyze market potential, track sales, and status reports.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and management by providing reports on customer needs, issues, competitive activities, and new product interests.
  • Assist in regional events including presentations and sales regarding product and service offerings.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Sales Representative is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge or ability to learn about the New Jersey Private Well Testing Act requirements is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history


Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Ability to interrupt water test results.
  • Experience working in the construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, customer service, multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Business Relationship and Customer Relationship Management practices.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat


Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • This job operates primarily in a field environment and routinely requires walking, climbing stairs and lifting equipment
  • This job uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds


$26 - $28 an hour
This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $26.00 to $28.00 an hour. Compensation varies based on skill, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for competitive benefits.
