Job Title: Azure Cloud Administrator

Experience Range: 7-10 Years 

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Mode) 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Tenant Configuration:

   • Hands-on experience in setting up and configuring cloud tenants for various functions/services like Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Defender, etc.

   • Experience using various migration tools for migration tasks.

2. Azure Subscriptions:

   • Oversee Azure subscriptions, including managing and provisioning subscription resources.

   • Monitor usage and enforce governance policies to ensure cost control and compliance.

3. Resource Management:

   • Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources like virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking components.

   • Optimize resource utilization, configure access controls, and create resource groups.

4. Monitoring and Optimization:

   • Monitor the health and performance of Azure services and resources.

   • Address issues to ensure optimal availability and performance.

   • Optimize resource configurations and usage to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.

5. Security and Compliance:

   • Configure and monitor security policies.

   • Implement role-based access control.

   • Ensure compliance with industry regulations.

   • Protect data against threats and unauthorized access.

   • Ensure regular data backups.

6. Automation:

   • Create custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable.

7. Identity and Governance:

   • Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) objects, such as users, groups, and devices.

   • Manage role-based access control (RBAC), Azure policies, resource locks, and tags.

8. Storage Management:

   • Configure network access to storage accounts.

   • Manage access keys and implement Azure Storage replication.

   • Configure Azure Files and Azure Blob Storage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.

• A clear understanding of cloud computing services, including networking, storage, databases, servers, and software in the cloud.

• Technical skills in virtualization, networking, and security.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, and SQL Server.

• Familiarity with Active Directory, SQL databases, and cloud technologies.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility in supporting a 24/7 coverage environment.

• Participation in on-call rotations to address critical network incidents and minimize downtime.

• Awareness of Service Management concepts (Monitoring/Ticketing tools and SR/IM/PM/CM).

• ITIL Certification is a must.

• Excellent oral and written communication, professional, and interpersonal skills.

• Keen attention to details with a strategic and holistic mindset.

• Self-motivated and directed.
