The Role
The Payroll assistant will be involved in all aspects of payroll processing for approx. 700 employees across 6 payrolls. This position is 3 days in the office (22hours per week).
You will have a good understanding of payroll and tax legislation, the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment to ensure deadlines are met. You will be working closely with the payroll manager and people team to ensure all administration and payroll changes are processed each month
This role would suit someone who is comfortable dealing with various stake holders both internally and externally including our payroll, pension and benefits providers and HMRC.
You will have excellent attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and be flexible whilst ensuring all deadlines are met. You will need experience of dealing with an external payroll outsourced provider within a similar role and good knowledge of the end to end payroll and benefit process.
