Description: 

We are looking for an inside sales representative for the West Coast United States with a scientific background who is passionate about building strong customer interactions. Someone who thrives on building and growing customer relationships in pursuit of achieving sales forecasts. If you are someone who has a combination of drive, organizational and technical/ scientific communication skills come and work with our sales and marketing teams to make an impact in the world of proteomics.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving sales of our innovative ARGO™ HT System and NULISA™ Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate high quality leads for sales that generate incremental revenue growth
  • Effectively communicate the benefits of Alamar's proprietary NULISA™ technology and ARGO™ HT System to potential customers in the West Coast region of the Unites States
  • Work effectively with regional sales representatives and marketing to lead disease focused sales campaigns to generate new sales opportunities and revenue
  • Follow up on marketing generated leads to generate new sales opportunities
  • Answer technical questions about the Alamar proteomics platform
  • Maintain a database of current and potential customers in the assigned territory
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth objectives
  • Collaborate with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Stay informed about competing products and services in the proteomics market

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred
  • Proven inside sales experience, preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences industry
  • Strong understanding of proteomics and biomarker research (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask

The base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 - $80,000 + commission + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
